I have been working as a Java developer for the past two decades, but will happily solve problems using Kotlin, Groovy, Python, Swift, Go, Bash, C or Assembly or any other tool if the problem calls for it.

My specialties are the Spring Framework, CQRS / Axon Framework, running Java on the Azure cloud, and I’m comfortable with Jenkins at any scale.

I’ve built applications with Copilot CLI, Claude Code CLI, Jetbrains Junie as well as some open source models.

When I’m not programming, I can often be found trail running or cycling while listening to podcasts on natural sciences and space, or talking about dinosaurs with my kids.
